Elizabeth Montavon is a 9x National Champion, former US National Team Member and currently ranked 7th in the world in Pro Women's Slalom. She skied for the University of Alabama on a full ride and was awarded All American honors three times during her collegiate career — Roll Tide. 

When she was 13, she was banned from her eight grade graduation because she dyed her hair pink. In her defense, it matched the dress her mom picked out. Her rebellious streak and irreverent nature runs deep. Thank god her parents owned a hair salon, because she certainly gave them a few premature grey hairs. 

Elizabeth knows that you can't keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. So, in 2017, she moved to south Florida and buried herself in "whatever process would make her better." It was during that time that she realized there's no way to cheat yourself out of hard work in the sport of water skiing, and she grew furiously passionate about outworking everyone around her. She has no attachment to “what was” and is obsessed with “what could be.”

It was over PB waffles that Stevie and Elizabeth started to concoct the Ski or Die vision. They knew that, although no two skiers come from the same background, they all share the same tenacity, grit, and fire. And so, they created a community that champions the "blood, sweat, and tears" skier who is all too familiar with putting their nose to the grindstone. This all sounding too much like a kick in the ass? Good. They wouldn't have it any other way.

Stevie is a National Champion & 10x Regional Champion. After jumping around living in San Jose, Dallas, Spain, Boston and Nashville he now resides in Lake Worth, FL where he enjoys his little beach bungalow home and water skiing every day.
